VOLUNTEERS NEEDED - We are in desperate need of adult volunteers. If you think that you can help in any way, PLEASE contact Kim Gridley @ (315) 536-6094.
Who We AreWe are a group of volunteers and a staff of 4 who are dedicated to helping the animals of Yates County find quality homes. No animal will be destroyed due to the lack of a quality home. We try to put the animals in foster care homes to be socialized and generally to see how they will adjust, but we still need lots of people who are willing to be "Foster Parents". If you would like to find out more about fostering a shelter pet please contact Kim Gridley, Shelter of Hope Manager at 315-536-6094, or by email at shelterofhope@hsyc.org. With your help we can make Yates County a safe county for the animals. Humane Society Of Yates County - Board of Directors

Tami Marchionda Our MissionThe mission of the Humane Society of Yates County is to advance the humane treatment of animals in Yates County, New York. This is accomplished through actions which promote the adoption of stray or unwanted animals, which reduce cruelty to dogs and cats, and which reduce the over breeding of domestic animals. The Humane Society of Yates County depends on volunteer and private financial assistance from the residents of Yates County to carry out its program. To carry out our mission, the Shelter of Hope has been established. Contact Us Don Cass, Director:
